Latest Industry Brief from Verisign Says Nearly 300 Million Domains Registered at End of 3Q-2015
Verisign has released their latest quarterly Domain Name Industry Brief covering 3Q-2015. They reported 299 million domain names were registered across all extensions. That is 14.8 million more domains than the number registered at that point in time last year.

Two 6-Figure Sales Top This Week's Chart - 3 of the 4 Biggest Sales Are 3-Letter .Coms
Ultra-short domain names loosened their stranglehold on the top sales this week, even though three of the top four spots went to 3-letter .coms. Last week 11 of the 12 biggest sales were 3 letters or less but this week those LLL .coms were the only ones among the first dozen that were that short.
