Domain Registrations Still Booming - Over 18 Million Added Over Past Year According to Verisign 
Verisign released their latest quarterly Domain Name Industry Brief covering 2Q-2014 this week and it contained a lot of good news. 18.6 million domains across all extensions have been added in the past year - a 7.2% jump. ccTLDs outperformed the market with a double digit rise.
